the edge of the text input box, instead of line wrapping and making the
input box taller the entire IRC channel window expands horizontally even
beyond the bounds of my desktop

I think this might have been actually caused by problems with my intel
drivers causing me to boot up via Recovery Mode and doing a "startx." I
don't think all of the keyring stuff was started correctly.
Either way, this issue has resolved itself via upgrades.

When I run tomboy --debug --search &> tomboy-debug.txt from the command
line Tomboy starts as expected (with search window open, and panel
icon). When I close the search window Tomboy is still running in the
panel (correctly).

I can confirm this using f-spot 0.4.4-1ubuntu4. I did not experience a
true "crash" though. For me, F-Spot immediately started to slow down
the whole machine by taking all available RAM (res: 1.5 of 2gig, virt:
3.874gig). This went on for more than 2 minutes until I just killed it.

Could you please remove the Murrine-Symphonic theme and see if that
helps? The last two errors you initially pasted referenced a bad syntax
issue with that theme.

Yes, not having the fonts embedded in the pdf can cause this type of
issue. So, in this case the font might be installed on Windows but not
Ubuntu. This kind of situation is most times caused by the fact that
Ubuntu (or anyone else) can not distribute the font due to
licensing/copyright/whatever

If I understood you correctly: You experience the problem in Windows
also. If that is true, then this is not a Evince issue, but most likely
a problematic pdf document.
If you experience this bug ONLY in evince (not Adobe) then please reopen
this bug (or just reply)
