I backported epiphany-browser_43.0-2 and webkit2gtk (2.38.1-1) from debian sid
to my machine to check if it is resolved upstream. Unfortunately, the bug is
still present.

How to reproduce :
Chose "Canada" Keyboard (French Canadian) by default and chose "English
US" to second choice.
Switch from "Canada" to "English US" keyboard. Try to write pipe character you
will get and
suppose to be || and
