I am having the same problem in 2.24.3 on the ubuntu variant easy-peasy (2.6.27-11-eeepc). Mostly pdfs. File associations work fine on Nautilus. They have worked fine in the past in earlier version of Evo, but I cannot swear when they broke. -- File associations broken
