Yes you are correct clearlooks seems to be the trouble maker here i've got
the non ubuntu cairo/animations enabled clearlooks. I'll switch back to the
clearlooks which ships with ubuntu. Thank you for your timely response.

Everytime i log in to the computer and right after the splash i see
these crashes are produced. They involve the Trash applet and volume
