There's no way to run empathy-auth-client unless inside empathy. I do
this and attached the valgrind log as demanded.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on Edit any account;
2. Unmark password-storing;
3. Disable account;
4. Enable account;
5. Bug happens.

Right-clicking on titlebar causes metacity to crash.
Keyboard does not respond but mouse does.
To turn metacity back, is needed restart the computer or create a panel

I have the same problem.
Apparently this bug have some relation with #209746: File permissions
are incorrect during file copy in nautilus (Ubuntu). When files who lost
their original permissions are put in Trash, the user can't delete them
