In Maverick 10.10 and Natty 11.04 control-T works as expected and opens

This is a known issue with VNC and its installer. The problem is there
is a keyboard shortcut set that minimizes the window. If you go to
System/preferences/keyboard shortcuts and disable it, VNC works much
better although I still have lots of problems with it.

Not sure if this is proper place to report, but I'm having a similar
issue on Acer Aspire 5515; except when I unplug AC, I lose wireless
network altogether. I get disconnected and can't get signed back in at
all. If I go back on AC and restart, it's fine. I just updated today
from 10.04 to 10.10,

Just checked for any new versions, of which there was nothing. Ran the

I don't know if anyone has noticed but disabling compiz fixes two bugs
it fixes this one and when ubuntu goes into power saver if you have
firefox open you cannot type in the browser it also fixes this problem.
I know there is a bug report for that problem as well so you may want to
link the two.
It's simple, but incredibly frustrating bugs like this that get ignored
for 10+ months (as of now) that make it incredibly difficult to get non-
linux users using ubuntu as their main desktop. Most users are not
comfortable with gconf-editor, and aren't going to know what to google
for to find
I have the same issue as Pablo and I also noticed after fixing the
transparency slider that was the only way to fix. I'm sure it is a bug
since it is not optimal to need to switch to transparency to achieve a
solid background.

For me, it seems to not matter what view the pane is in - detailed,

This may not be a bug as so much a complaint about the UI. The default
settings for the webcam did not work. The Detect devices button did not
do anything. I have tried all input devices and I always get the
message below

I can verify in my case, gthumb started importing photos again after I deleted
movie files from the memory card.
