totem-mozilla doesn't show GUI elements while playing OGG or MP3 files within
the web browser
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: totem-mozilla
totem-mozilla doesn't show GUI elements while playing OGG or MP3 files
within the web browser. It works with WMA files. I think bug #323963 was
not fixed completely.
Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 3

I reopened this bug since it is not fixed. At least not in Karmic. WMA
files seem to work. OGG and MP3 files will play but Totem won't show GUI
elements.

This is clear, but it worked that way in former releases and doesn't

uncommon WMA format. Does this make sense? So I think it is definitely a
bug.

Hi,
yes it is reproducible. At least on my computer. To recreate this bug just drag
and drop an MP3 or OGG file into your (firefox) browser window. On hardy these
files will start to play within the browser with the totem plugin. On Jaunty
these files will be offered to download because
