When trying to save a decrypted file, evince now tells that it is decrypted and
can not be saved.

I have the same problem with evince being very slow in ubuntu 10.04.
But this only occurs if there are pictures or drafts in the document. For a
document with only text it seems to be as fast as in the previous version.
I am using radeon driver, but I do not think, that it is a driver problem.

The problem only occurs if pictures or drafts are in the document. For a text
only document it seems to be as fast as before.

Binary package hint: evince
While trying to save a pdf form evince produces a corrupted file if the
pdf is encrypted but not secured with any password.
Problem can be solved by using
qpdf --decrypt encrypted.pdf decrypted.pdf
before opening the file in evince.
