Just wanted to mention that I (original reporter) cannot reproduce this
bug right now because the original system was reinstalled. Dasher on my
other systems is crashing before even getting to this point. So someone
else should attach fonts that are causing their crashes.

try to change the alphabet.
To reproduce:
1. Run dasher
2. click the alphabet pulldown (which defaults to "English with limited
punctuation")
3. click "More alphabets..."
