it happens to me as well when scrolling fast into a long email (233k or
so).
Unable to get the backtrace, but got almost same message when debugging:
[Thread 0xb0384b70 (LWP 3107) exited]
The program 'evolution' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
