I experience the same problem.
Tried to mount from a newly created local user account to check if that
solved the problem, but it didn't.
Hardy was originally installed as Alpha5, but up to date as of today.

Using gcalctool 5.21.92 on I experienced the following:
1) I inputted the following calculation: 60*60*24*365 and got 31536000
2) Selected "Show thousands separator" and got 31,,536.000., while I expected
31.536.000

Found bug 7373 and when I select "No Xv" the blue tint is gone.
