I've removed the icon in question from the Human theme. Should now
default back to a nicer icon. Check this again when the changes are

Are you running the latest stuff? We've fixed several issues in the last
few days/weeks and on my system almost all of them are nice and sharp
now. The icon that I removed was blurry in itself, without any software
scaling.

Actually, I think that the wrong icon is being used in the menu. The
correct version to be used in menus is the one found in the context menu
(right click on the panel to see it)

Using a fixed pixel size would be a mistake, as on very large
resolutions it would be tiny.
I have no idea why this is happening but it sounds like the Xserver is
not reporting the correct resolution or such.

I agree with this as well. Using Bitstream is probably a left-over from
designing the theme, not intentional. It would be much better to use
Sans (which in this case defaults to DejaVu) in the XML.

The point behind this is to use a condensed font for latin characters
which are shown on the desktop and interface (not in documents or inside
app windows).
Apparently the best idea would be to remove the messed up Cyrillic,
Asian fonts which do not work anyway (making Sans default to a decent
