I don't know if the bug is reproducible because after getting the box with the grayed out installed button for Gstreamers, I noticed that the selection was for Gstreamers bad set. I then installed the bad set of Gstreamers using Synaptic. After installing the bad set, the streaming video that I was able to play in Hardy could be again played in Intrepid. To reproduce the bug, I guess you would have to go to a site that required the bad set of Gstreamers without that set installed, and click on the feed to see if it returned a search showing the needed set as Gstreamers bad set, but without a operatiing install button, or since it is the bad set maybe it is Ubuntu's policy to gray out the install button.
