I solved it by installing gnome Tweak and selecting the Desktop tab the
last option Show Mounted volumes on the desktop
I have not really found an error that causes this.

Just switched to Ubuntu 11.04, using Ubuntu-Classic and taskbar on bottom side.
I confirm that this bug is very annoying!

1) shift scrollbar towards the window when close to taskbar, as it is when

Hi,
In mi case I have both Windows 7 a Ubuntu on my laptop. On Windows 7 the
battery indicator goes perfect with or without plugging. Nonetheless
with Ubuntu, even with Beta 2, the problem that I reported is still
happening. Hence, it is a problem with the operating system, not with
the Hardware.
I updated to the Beta 2 as well but the bug is still present in my case.
Did you did any additional thing to solve it (apart from upgrading)? I
also tried what Kyle Reynolds proposed but it didn't work out either.

I agree with Adam Williamson and I think a lot of the heat this is

Thanks for your answer, Pedro. The comment you mentioned was included
by my advisor. What I did was add more comments via Okular (because
it's supported there) to remember which changes were already applied.
I'll include a screenshot of Okular as soon as possible.

Evince does not support
Here is the screenshot I took using okular. Note the green underline as
well as the blue ellipse. These don't appear in either evince or
acroread.

autosaves)
2) open the same file with evince
Expected result:
The green markings also show in evince

If you read your own bug report, you will see that you can actually
delete files from an NTFS or VFAT partition without issues.

Lastest update breaks mime types in evince and nautilus

Since latest update to version 0.70, evince is unable to open pdf files
(detects them as applicaiton/octec-stream) and nautilus incorrectly
identifies file types. For example, deb archives as reported as
text/plain.
