I did a 'sudo aptitude --purge reinstall' for all installed gstreamer*
packages. That fixed it.

I can confirm this bug.
For me the dublicated icons are not only in the places menu of Nautilus but
also on the desktop and any other file-chooser/SaveAs-Dialog, that is why I

Networkmanager 0.6.4 shows "no network connection" although other
program network monitor applet 2.12.1 shows my working connect right.
Networkmanager pops up on panel every start.

I can confirm that this bug occurs whenever someone tries to mount an smb
filesystem by using
smbfs via a fstab entry (dapper). Several side effects result from that like
hanging nautilus processes,
missing samba shares, performance lags in nautilus.
Here's a workaround:
Mount the samba shares
right.
One point I found:
There isn't any link pointing to /etc/init.d/mountnfs.sh in any of /etc/rc?.d/
