When I visit the "Places" menu and select "Computer", "Starting
Computer" appears for some seconds in my bottom panel and then vanishes.

Note that I had to press ^C in order to get a gdb prompt at all after I
suspended and got the bug. Otherwise "thread apply all bt" shows nothing.

I use latest dapper, but this bug also occurred in both Hoary and Breezy, final

In my case I have used ssh-add in gnome-terminal to set up the agent. gnome-vfs
has never before wanted me to enter a passphrase after I've done that and I can
access the same URI with Nautilus with no difficulties.

I filed this bug against Sound Juicer in Ubuntu 4.10, which I don't
recall exposing any such option. I haven't used it since then so I can't
comment on what "the idea" is in recent releases. It sounds like a
