Performed a backup of email from Evolution 2.32.2 which had not
problems. Installed fresh Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty) Kernel 2.6.38-8 generic
GNOME 2.32.1 on Presario X1000 notebook. Attempted to restore Evolution
2.32.2 and it was only partially

Solved, I upgraded to GNOME 3.0.2 and Evolution 3.0.2 and am now able to
read my inbox. Strangely I now have a duplicate of every email. Better
to have two than none!
