When I stream TV from mythtv, I get this missing codec popup, and have to
click 'cancel' every time.
Is there some way to make it ignore the teletext? maybe a dummy codec?

So what is the workaround?
How do you disable services from the command line with Upstart?
The 'service' command will stop and start, but they come back at reboot, right?

Same problem here. Thanks for the workaround (accent first, then letter.)
I don't know why lspci was asked for. Looks like a simple problem with the
lookup table, or software that uses it.
compose-e-' fails, when it worked fine pre-intrepid (for the past 15 years, at
least!)
