I just had MSN disconnect for whatever reason and Empathy handled it very
poorly.
- I was disconnected (netstat confirmed this, no MSN connections)
- the MSN contacts were still displayed
I'm running Jaunty and have a file that causes the same error, so this
bug is not entirely fixed. It's an .avi file encoded with XviD. Trying
to open it with Avidemux causes an error too, so maybe the file is
damaged. However, that shouldn't prevent Nautilus from handling it
correctly.

I get the same. Until recently, I used to select text with [Shift] +
[left/right arrow key]. This doesn't work anymore, [Shift] + [Arrow
keys] prints A B C D.
