Totem crashes after selecting "None" subtitle when

I was just viewing jpg images relatively small in size (less than 1mb).
I double clicked on an image in nautilus which didnt load. So I tried to
close eog which then crashed it.

Rainer, we understand the situation however there are no proper calendar
applications available. Sure there is Lightning as an add-on for
Thunderbird, however I don't think it is included by default. Probably a
bug report is to be opened in Thunderbird to include. We are working on
a calendar app
What I do not understand is that the official design decision has been
made by the Ayatana team (John Lea). So I do not see why the
disagreements should stop the development. Besides can't the final
decision be made after user testing this like in other situations?

Descender letters (g j p q y) get their tail cut off in current
Chris, these keywords are used *only* for the sole purpose of improving
the matching in the dash. Currently, a new user can find totem in the
dash by explicitly searching for totem, movie. However the keywords will
help the user find totem using other generic terms such as Film, DVD etc

Bryce, this has been fix released upstream. I agree that this is not a
severe enough problem, hence it is better of to push to Q series. In
fact I am guessing it will automatically come in from upstream if totem
3.4.1 is imported.

Stephane, for me this problem exists on both log out and restart.
However this is only during the login screen and boot process. Once I am
logged into the Unity desktop, it is automatically restored to the
previous configuration I set it to. Can you confirm if this is the case
for you as well?

Well I branched the latest gedit using bzr branch ubuntu:gedit. And in
the folder data, there is the desktop file "gedit.desktop.in.in". If you
open that file you will see the unity quicklist support "Open new
window".

I tried reproducing the error without Firefox running and it happens.
Infact I just restarted the system and reproduced the error. But as I
mentioned earlier it only happens when I choose Google as my weather
data provider. Hence I am going to stick with Yahoo to be on the safe
side. :)
