yes it is still happening. i installed ubuntu when it was still in beta. my
video card broke on me before i installed it. when it was done installing
ubuntu told me that it could not run the new desktop and had to run old
version. my laptop is running new ubuntu with new desktop working and
in .dvi problem on two seperate computers with Natty
installed ( laptop and desktop ). Both have 64 bit Natty installed. I
have not tested Natty 32bit.

Browsing the iPod with Nautilus displays the .mp3 extension, however
these are not copied onto the local drive.

Actually, since the m4 macro will be included in aclocal.m4 (or the
like) in developers distributing source tarballs from Ubuntu, this is
pretty ugly... as the default is probably correct for other distros
(/etc/gconf/schemas vs /usr/share/gconf/schemas). So, I'm not sure what
the fix is...

I'm experiencing the same problem. i just killed nautilus because it
has consumed 2.1G and causing my computer to be sluggish. Has there
been any resolution?

Major issue for me as I cannot open shares on my other Ubuntu machines
to transfer large files... guess this has stumped everyone?
How do you stop Nautilus asking for a password or is there some 'magic'
default for this non-existent password?
