Every time I open a photo, Eye of Gnome opens up with a window size that
is inappropriate, ie., too high to fit on the desktop. As a result, the
bottom of the window overlaps into the desktop below.
I use Ubuntu 11.04 with standard Unity install. My screen resolution is
1680
I confirm this, having witnessed three people (plus me) being
inconvenienced by the volume level on five different laptops.

Launchpad user gazel seems to have mistaken the Ubuntu project page on
Launchpad for Ubuntu itself.
S/He seems to have hit a permission error on LP and simply says something in
the lines of "what are you going to do now?". Title also contains some
complaint.

Confirming the exact same problem. 10.04 i386.
This cropped up after I installed the Opera browser (10.11, deb from
their website) and played with Unity (added ppa:canonical-dx-team/une
and installed ubuntu-netbook-unity-default-settings package). I don’t
know which of the two caused that.
