Indeed, I have to revoke my fix-confirmation. I didn't experience the
focus stealing in the first hour after the update but then it occurred
again. Now Evince sometime steals the focus and sometimes it politely
stays in the background. Strange, I couldn't yet detect what causes
which behavior.

I know I shouldn't recommend this, but one can manually install the most
recent evince version from natty (2.32.0-0ubuntu12.2) in maverick (get
it here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/+package/evince). Based on
this dirty workaround, I can confirm that this issue does not appear
anymore. Thanks
Looks like this is similar to upstream bug 580022
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=580022).

I experienced this bug too with a python plugin written myself.
In my plugin I created a rather complex object in the plugin's __init__

activate and deactivate methods. The problem was that the object never

Which one is the other bug report? Could you please add a duplicate

Same here (problem not present in Hardy, but in Intrepid).
Disabling cross-fading is a workaround (restart of RB is required after
disabling the cross-fading option).

I've added a backtrace while nautilus consumes 100% CPU (sent SIGTERM to

One reason why nautlius consumes so much CPU at login, when mounting a

that it simply forgets its "thumbnail" inf
