My idea comes one day late as the deadline was yesterday :(
OpenITP is looking for projects to fund. Eligible projects must work on
improving users' ability to circumvent censorship and surveillance on
the Internet. So OTR support for Empathy fits perfectly!
I was wondering if this is still an issue since some user has reported upstream
that the issue has disappeared with seahorse 2.30.
If so, how can I reproduce it in order to fix it?

the gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly package contains info saying what
decoders/encoders it provides but it doesn't mention mms:

You are right, nobody has mentioned it in the changelog and so it remains as
not fix released.
It should be fixed in Jaunty since they are using 2.25.
I'm marking it as fix released, althought i'm not very sure if it's the right
