[Bug 448326] Re: new gdm lost "return" key for default user

2009-10-11 Thread Paul Elms
I am confirming this bug as it also occurs on my system. Prior to a recent update, I could select the first user in the list using Return. Now this doesn't work. In addition, the down arrow will no longer highlight the second user in the list, so it appears that gdm is not processing keyboard inp

2009-10-11 Thread Paul Elms
Confirming this bug as this also happens on my system. On my system it is not just return that is ignored by gdm, but also the cursor keys. I have two users, hitting Return to select the first user in the list does not work and I also cannot hit the down arrow to highlight the second user. Prior

This bug is described in the upstream bug report found here: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=520209 Rhythmbox should warn if some drag and drop operations are not possible because there is no mp3 encoder installed, or ideally offer easy codec installation. There is a seperate issue here

[Bug 398734] Re: Rhytmbox removes song list when opened

2009-08-20 Thread Paul Elms
I've found an upstream bug that covers the handling of removable sources for libraries, and the associated 'Missing files'. I too found it quite alarming when I first saw my library 'disappear' the first time I opened Rhythmbox without the library sourced mounted, so I think this could be handled

Dave, where is your music located, on a local disk or some sort of USB disc/music player? I also see this behaviour when I open rhythmbox and I have not mounted the network storage that the music is on, as Sebastian already mentioned. You say it sometimes doesn't do this, what is different between

I can reproduce this running karmic in virtualbox so am marking it as confirmed. However for me the result of attempting to increase/decrease the volume above 100% or below 0% depends on which part of the UI has focus at the time. If the seek bar has focus then the bug is as described previously,

I can confirm this bug. It seems to only occur (for me at least) with mp3 files, ogg files don't seem to cause the error. The error message appears when trying to access the properties of a subsequent song (ogg or mp3) after changing the properties of a mp3 song. The properties are changed and s
