Same for me. Happens on login, or when I try to add the applet. After the crash I get a suggestion to delete the applet. I use English, Bulgarian and Bulgarian (Phonetic). Here is the output from xprop: # xprop -root | grep XKB _XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = "xfree86", "pc102", "en_US", "", "
