I can also confirm that after installing libmutter-7-0 from groovy-
proposed, 3 snaps that wouldn't run before now run (chromium, keepassxc,
vlc).

Nautilus can be set to launch form Startup Appliications using the
floowing command
nautilus --browser --no-desktop
I'm not sure if all options are need, but it would appear that the
nautilus behaviour has changed at some point.

Chris, when I filed the original report, I wasn't aware that nautilus
was more than a file manger. What I want is to launch the nautilus file
manager at startup, just as if I'd typed nautilus in a terminal, or went
Places > Home Folder. An entry like this worked in 8.04, but hasn't
worked since. Th
