Yes, I meant the sidepane. Since nautilus and several other programs
give special significance to the Documents, Pictures, Downloads etc.

I did sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade, then I installed
nautilus-dbg and tried running it through gdb as described on the
"Backtrace" page. However now the problem was gone!
So I uninstalled nautilus-dbg again to see if that did anything, but it still

Oops, I meant "symbolic" links. I created them from the terminal using
ln --symbolic etc.
I ran "apport-bug nautilus" right after the problem occured to report
this bug. I'll try to get a better backtrace...
