Yes, this problem is still occurring. As before, the delay in switching
grows as time goes on, until the computer is unresponsive for longer

SOLVED. I found no relevant bugs on the TightVNC website. I then
removed TightVNC from my WinXP system and replaced it with the VNC
server from RealVNC and the scrolling problem went away. This bug
report should be closed. I will refer this report to the TightVNC guys.

I was looking for existing bugs for the same problem (and apparently
found it). I am running KDE kdm 4:4.3.2-0ubuntu7 and am having the same
issue. So it seems the problem is not gdm specific.

space a premium. For this reason, users need to re-orient
the tool bars along the vertical edges.
Could someone please fix this ancient bug.

Sorry, the problem were against the monitor (me). Some new settings has
to be done to get the same characteristic like the older version of
evolution.
The problem is now solved!
