Well now this seems to be more of a GNOME issue than Ubuntu or Nautilus.
I installed KDE Plasma yesterday, and URLs open fine. Drives are auto-
mounting fine. Only issue I've noticed is that I still can't open my
Trash. That's it.

Hey guys, I'd really like to get this fixed. It's not been working for
over two months, and I don't like it.

Unless there's a way around it, I can't. When Apport tried to open a web
browser so I can fill out the form, I got this:
r...@ryan-desktop:~$ ubuntu-bug storage

I get than in any app I try.

OK. I'm still at a loss as to what could be causing this, because when
I put a CD in earlier I had to use Disk Utility to mount it, it didn't
auto-mount.

Sure:
r...@ryan-desktop:~$ dpkg -l | grep gvfs

server
ii gvfs-backends

Actually, more updates were available the next day, June 4th, and I ran
those, so I don't know if that would mess up that log or not,

Ok, here are the steps I took.
1. SSH'ed to computer from school on June 3rd, 2010, noticed that Ubuntu had 9
security updates available.
2. Ran sudo apt-get update then sudo apt-get upgrade
3. Noticed that a new version of linux-image and linux-headers were available.
4. Waited for updates
