contained a command plus arguments disappeared. launchers with commands
like "vlc" "kate" etc. are still there.
For example:
1) create a launcher in the panel for gkrellm
The launchers were created by right clicking on the panel --> Add to
panel --> Custom application Launcher --> then filling in the launcher
name, say "albany" and the command "gkrellm --server alb.u13.net"
Where are launchers stored?

This bug is still present in edgy. I upgraded gnome-cups-manager and
its dependencies from the edgy repos and it still acts exactly the same.
I'm having a hard time navigating the gnome bug tracker and locating
anything relevant to this. I have not reported it as upstream because I
haven't tes

Below is the output from running it on my home laptop. 192.168.0.1 and
192.168.0.10 are linux machines with samba installed, but no actual
printers shared. The real test will be when I'm on campus.

I encountered this when doing a partial upgrade to edgy for things like
firefox2 and some other choice apps I wanted to check out. I fixed it
by upgrading libnss3 to the version in edgy then purging firefox and
reinstalling it. I got the idea to do that from a suggestion for FC at

The changes upstream to the printer management software in GNOME made
this problem disappear starting in Gutsy and in Hardy as well. Marking
it as invalid to close the matter.

After upgrading to feisty, my custom launchers in the gnome-panel that
contained a command plus arguments disappeared. launchers with commands
like "vlc" "kate" etc. are still there.
For example:
1) create a launcher in the panel for gkrellm
The launchers were created by right clicking on the panel --> Add to
panel --> Custom application Launcher --> then filling in the launcher
name, say "albany" and the command "gkrellm --server alb.u13.net"
Where are launchers stored?
