My resolution is 1366x768 (16:9), and when I maximize system monitor the fonts
are being distored and barely readable.
What I found is the this starts after a certain amount of window scale not just
maximized.

I downloaded and checked Oneiric 11.10 live cd several times and I can't
reproduce the bug I've reported on 11.04. This is maybe due to the new stack
(Gnome 3, GTK3) of the new Ubuntu 11.10 versus the old stack (Gnome 2, GTK2) of
11.04...
So should we close this bug report ? I don't kno
As the reporter of the bug I now have Ubuntu 11.04 and this bug is of no
problem for me any more

Well I wached a movie, and then i closed Totem. Then i opened another .avi and
then it crashed ! i tried to open the same file with vlc, but it crashed too. i
couldnt open any .avi file till the apport report poped up , and gathered 20MB
