Still the case in 13.10 !!
For me playing Wav files belongs to the core functionalities from an os, so I
hope it will be fixed soon ! It the 3rd version from ubuntu not beeing able to
play wave files... not really a good point , not sure If we don't need to
reopen bug #1, because the war against
I've added powerdevil, I'm using kubuntu, and it seems to use powerdevil
as "power manager"... If a fix is commited for gnome power manager, then
something must also be done for kde, otherwise kubuntu user will have
problems.

I've now activate color management in scribus, and set everything to
adobe icc, also activate show like printer... but the green from the
logo remain very high instead of very dark... the image is eps ...

Martin, I'm not sure to have understood everything :
You said "hal support for smartdimmer isn't going away anytime soon", but for
me hal never manage to get my backlight to work, In one bug report in LP, I
know a change has been made for nvidia user, to use smartdimmer, but this is
not working
