Since the gnome-cups-manager window looks like a nautilus window and is
essentially the "port" of windows printer area, which follows the
behaviour of explorer windows. It should follow the "as if it was a
nautilus window" behaviour and

I don't know what type of system you have mine isn't the fastest and yet
when apport starts to do its thing it certainly does choke my system. I
end up killing it instead of waiting for it to finish. Next time an
application crashes use top and look at the cpu usage ;)

Why not have bug-buddy/apport/whatever is collecting all the debug
information ask first if the user wants to submit a bug so that the user
can decide if all that data should be collected before the system is
automatically brought to its knees?
The bug is related to the new libnss library installed when firefox was
updated.
