Public bug reported: I'm using gedit 3.10.4 on Ubuntu 14.04.
>From time to time gedit will start freezing up when I click "File" > "Open..." and the open file dialog shows up. It'll hang for about 15-45 seconds. Restarting gedit doesn't help, I have to restart my laptop. I finally figured out, this only seems to happen after I've been connected to my Raspberry Pi's Samba share in the Ubuntu file manager on my home LAN. I typically use it at home, then gedit starts acting up the next day when I've gone in to work. ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: - I'm using gedit 3.10.4 on UBuntu 14.04. + I'm using gedit 3.10.4 on Ubuntu 14.04.
