I also encountered this problem (gnome-terminal not launching) and in my
case the problem was an invalid $HOME/.pam_environment file from a
previous OS installation. Xterm worked fine. Removing the
.pam_environment file fixed the problem; putting it back triggered the
problem again.
Debian 8 does
It seems like wxITEM_RADIO isn't compatible with Ubuntu?
I've recompiled the whole code-blocks (codeblocks-12.11release8629 as
download able on the official site) and commented out every line with
AppendRadioItem in it. Build the source via:
$ ./configure --prefix /usr --with-contrib-plugins=all
