When I change my used-desktop, gnome-panel is crash.
Before the crash, I update my system with update-manager in desktop 1
and I read a pdf file with evince in desktop 2.
The crash is arrived when I change current desktop 2 to desktop 1.

I think the bug is confirmed by the screenshot shown on the dup.
It seems to be related by how the messages are shown when the panel is at the
bottom instead of the top.

On this screenshot you can see what a normal notification looks like here.
It appears quite correct but if you look carefully at the bottom border of it,
there are some little problems.

Wenn I try to launch gdmsetup throug the administration panel, it ask me
for the administrator password but does not start. Same problem wenn I
try to launch it with the terminal (sudo gdmsetup).

As I said, Ubuntu can be installed on a LVM without any problem but with the
"alternate" cdrom instead of the "desktop" cdrom.

As far as I know gparted doesn't (for the moment) support LVM, the only way to
install Ubuntu with a LVM support is to use the alternate CD.
And once installed I don't know any graphical tools to play with the LVM.

I also got the issue on my edgy installation and now the problem seems
to be fixed but introduced a regression. If I only change the gateway on
my wireless connection (eth1) to 192.168.0.200, it is correctly changed
in my /etc/network/interfaces file, but I've got no more WiFi
connectivity because

I just wanted to say I've got the same problem since a couple of weeks
(maybe from 1.3.0). I don't have any problem with gxine either. It
reproduces with all DVDs. The console's output is only two debug spews
of gtk groups
