I reported a crash, not a bug. The crash handler in Ubuntu isn't really
implemented to discern between the two. If the crash report it
generated isn't useful in any way, then so be it. I'm sorry if I've

the system tools contained a modification of the way in which they use
gksu to access system files. I didn't take enough notice of the
changelog to work out exactly what the changes were but a workaround is
to edit the menu

I am reporting this as a bug because I feel that it is a critical issue.
I am in the situation of having multiple documents in a folder of
varying types. I quite often have duplicate documents in odt, pdf and
ms doc format with identical filenames apart from the extension.
I can confirm this problem using Edgy (64bit, gnome) and nvidia-glx.
I can also confirm that disabling the the work-around suggested by
jamespharaoh (disabling the composite extension) does work.

If this another one of those Gnome Features where taking away functionality
that mortals would want to use, please put it back. The normal file dialog

Steps to reproduce:
1. Mount a samba share using nautilus, store the password in gnome-keyring when
prompted.
2. Add some music tracks from that share into the rhythmbox library
3. Reboot
4. Start rhythmbox
Expected result:
Rhythmbox should get gnome-keyring to prompt for
I seem to be getting this in Dapper.
I have gnome-terminal-2.14.2-0ubuntu3 installed.

1. Open gnome-terminal
2. Open a second terminal via ctrl-shift-n
3. Destroy new window via ctrl-d
4. Open a second terminal via ctrl-shift-n

input duplication on both machines i've tested this on.

I'm hitting the same problem on my dell inspiron 9300 here. Attaching
dmesg, it contains a bunch of ata errors which look like they're related
to the cd drive alright.
