Binary package hint: minicom
Often when I run minicom, no statusbar / pseudo-windows etc are
displayed. ctrl-a q doesn't seem to quit it. I'm at a loss as to
what it could be.
** Affects: vte (Ubuntu)
Importance: Medium
Status: Confirmed
On edgy with totem-gstreamer I tried to use the wvx files available at
http://www.wsa.soton.ac.uk/choosing-wsa/streaming-video/default.asp
There was no player known for this file. I have the necessary codecs for
windows media player, so browsing to /usr/bin/totem in firefox caused
totem to fire up

Public bug reported:
I just upgraded with the kernel packages released yesterday
(2006-10-09). I'm running a core 2 duo laptop with an Intel 945GM
graphics card. Previous to this apt-get upgrade Beryl ran beautifully,
now when I activate it my machine is slowed down by thousands of syslog
