Yes, I'm using 11.04 now - clean install, not an upgrade. I'm not
using Unity though. Couldn't see any benefit and it seemed to slow
things down.

I set up a menu item with:
/usr/games/sol -v canfield
and it starts Demon, not Canfield.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I've just reinstalled gnome-games and still
have the same problem.
Have run it as root from a terminal with same result as well.
No other user set up on my machine to try it with.
BTW - I'm not the only one that has seen this - found someone on a forum
complaining of
