to open in Archive Manager, applying an update won't change that. You
can make .deb packages open in Software Center by right clicking a .deb
package in Nautilus, clicking properties, going to the "Open With" tab,

in Nautilus won't leave a good first impression.

1. Open Nautilus.
2. Right click an item in the places menu.
3. Delete it.
4. Quickly right click another one. While the menu is open, the item at the top

not go away unless evolution-common is removed, and removing Evolution

When trying to share a folder in nautilus, if samba is not installed,
nautilus will prompt you to install it. Once it finishes, it will prompt
you to restart your session. Clicking the "restart session" button does
nothing.

Colored lines appear on the edges of the desktop in Ubuntu 10.04 beta 1.
This seems to change based on the theme; for example, when using the
Clearlooks theme, the lines have a blue to white gradient. Unlike bug
#507263, this happens all the time
