I also came across with the above error message while using ssh.
I tried ssh in 2 machines in a loop. Only 1 showed(machine 21, below) the
error. And in that machine(21)i had changed the password once before i ssh. So
i think the error may be because of the password change.

Most of the times, I play one given song repeatedly.
Lately I've noticed that the Visualizations stop working (freeze) sometime
later... generally less than 2-3 iterations. However, the progress bar and the

Happens, every time I open gnome-system-monitor.
This is an old Dell laptop, 7 year old, P4, 384 MB Ram, and I doubt it'd
have a good recent video card.

For some wierd reason, the application window (and just inside the
window) the content is all gibberrish. Just arbit lines and dots ... if
you see the screenshot you'll understand what I mean.
A few things, which may help in isolatin
1. Easily reproducible (In my case it was a simple MP3 file which was playing
perfectly in 9.04 (I have just upgraded to 9.10))
2. Just play an mp3 song, in my case the two times it crashed, the
Visualizations were on fullscreen. I did a third time without the
fullscreen, and it exited properly
