I'll note that this is still present in Lucid as of 4 February 2011 for
me, although I didn't have the Xorg usage Phillip reported; just one
core by Seahorse.

Given that this was supposed to be fixed before Karmic release, the fix
is known, and we've now shipped a greyed-out checkbox to users, is this
likely to get fixed in Karmic, or should I tell my dad to expect it in
Lucid only?

Earlier in the Hardy release cycle, if you had a completed stack from
King through Ace, double-clicking it would move it up to the completed
slots at the top of the screen. At some point in the last 24-hours,
this feature disappeared, and
Confirming as still present in Hardy. Should perhaps create something
like unsaved1~ in the .gnome2/gedit directory, and offer to restore it
on next run, similar to OpenOffice.org, or Epiphany/Firefox with tab
sessions.

Like Dean, I have not been able to establish a pattern, but it has happened
multiple times. I have actually had the same problem in both Epiphany and
Firefox 3.0, both of which I believe use
There's more to it than that actually. Rhythmbox will physically put
the files on the iPod, but will not update the DB, and without that you
can't play the files on the iPod itself on-the-go until that is fixed.
(at least this is true on my new nano that I just started using)

Got a notice about this crash in Gnome on Feisty, 14 Dec. 2006, immediately on

This is the first time I have seen this - have not yet attempted to reproduce
(but was prompted to submit by a pretty cool dialogue...)
