Package 'libdconf0' was not installed. I installed it, and now Empathy works as
it should. When I checked from Synaptic, 'libdconf0' is marked as a recommended
package by 'empathy'-package.

Binary package hint: empathy
Empathy stores account information, and works well, but won't save
preferences at all. I think I can solve this myself, but it would be
nice for beginners that everythnig works as it should.
