Considering that a notebook should not be dependent on one particular spot,
I would not render this bug to be of low importance as it makes an Ubuntu
machine be doomed to a single location.

I don't think I got the correct pid because I couldn't find any process named
*keyboard-applet or *layout etc
so i chose the notification area.
"USA Alternative international (former us_intl)" keeps appearing as the default
keyboard layout
