for months or years..
Is Thunderbird stealing all of the open source mail client users!?! :)
evolution won't delete mail from my maildir.
1. At launch, the Inbox and Trash are empty.
2. Click Trash. Trash is empty.

Hi Sebastien,
I can't use those instructions because the evolution doesn't crash, it
freezes and CPU goes to 100%.
Program terminated with signal SIGKILL, Killed.
The program no longer exists.
(gdb) backtrace full
No stack.
(gdb) info registers
The program has no registers now.
(gdb) thread apply
Also, CPU goes to 100%.

I don't have the problem 100% of the time, but it still occurs once in a
while. It also effects Restart.
It seems like I'm the only one on earth with this problem...so I don't
feel bad if we don't solve this :P

exists.

I had this problem too. However, I suspected that the dvd was protected,
so I tried a dvd that I burnt myself, which worked.
I already had libdvdread3 installed, but I needed to install libdvdcss2
via Medibuntu:
