Yes, you are right. Found it in the 0.12.0-0ubuntu2 change log.
Have tested version 0.12.0-0ubuntu1, 0.12.0-0ubuntu2, 0.12.0-0ubuntu4
from the ubuntu repos and 0.12.1 from getDeb, all with the same result.
Now i have installed the 0.11.6-0ubuntu4.3 from inteprid which works.

Tested another PSP with same behavior and an mp3-player which works, so
i think it have to be this bug. :>

Tested Ubuntu 9.04 32bit .
Same behavior.
I will test an unmodified PSP in the next few days, because my has a
custom Firmware.
Copying songs to an iPod works fine. Didn't test a normal mp3-Player
until now.
