This happend on Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10, Mint 14 and Mint debian edition to
me. I'm on a samsung series 5.

When I'm charging my battery, if the charge hits 100%, the indicator got stuck 
on 100% (never decreases again), until I shutdown. After rebooting he works 
normally again. 
If I stop the charge before hit 100% it works perfectly.
