Seems to be rather a problem with GStreamer (1.8.3). Moving accordingly.

Rhythmbox: podcasts did not work in Yakkety Yak. It has worked in before
(i.e. in Xenial Xerus), hence it is a regression.
To reproduct:
* Add a podcast URL of your choice to rhythmbox (try
http://www.deutschlandfunk.de/podcast-nachrichten.1257.de.podcast.xml if unsure)
*
I also was hit by this bug when updating my utopic (14.10) amd64 system
to vivid (15.04). Deinstalling systemd-shim also worked for me.

Well, IMHO bluetooth is one big mess in ubuntu. I'm using a BT headset
for nearly 7 years now, and it has NEVER worked without some quirks.
Even this would be OK for me, but the quirks differ not only between
releases but also between updates. Hence you can never be sure if the
headset will work
Dear kecsap,
well, the only problem is that this bug was never limited to eclipse
from ubuntu repos. It has also stroked me with an eclipse from
eclipse.org...

Java crash in libglib-2.0 after upgrade
At present, I could only speak for kubuntu/kde. The problem is gone when
using 'Radiance' as 'GTK2 Theme'. However, if I understand the KDE guys
right, this simply means that libglib is NOT used. Per consequence the
error cannot occur...

I've reported the bug KDE upstream as
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=327441 . Strangely enough, they
changed the status to 'FIXED, CLOSED' even as they not have looked at
it. So I'm deleting the upstream link here to signal that the problem is
still NOT solved.

Java crash in libglib-2.0 after
As I already mentioned on #1245468 I could not verify that changing
GTK_MODULES, UBUNTU_MENUPROXY, or GTK_IM_MODULE helps in any way.
However, I could verify that the problem GOES AWAYS IN KUBUNTU/KDE when
doing:
System Settings - Application Themes - GTK - Choose GTK2 Theme

Dear sirjoseca,
well I guess it is solved for SmartSVN. But I want to use eclipse...

Dear sirjoseca,
I rechecked this carefully. For me (as a Kubuntu/KDE user) using
export UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=''
and afterwards starting eclipse makes things A LOT better but the
problem does NOT go away. I've still got spurious Java VM crashes, most
commonly with SWT 'cancel' buttons. But I have to
Dear Hugo,
thank you for your prompt response. Notice that I've reported the bug to
(a) the distribution and (b) eclipse. Just to be very explicit: The bug
_only_ occurs with the oxygen-gtk2 theme. If I use the 'Radiance'
theme, everything is all right. Please also notice that a java crash
dump

like to be related; however, I could not stop the problem with fiddleing
with UBUNTU_MENUPROXY, GTK_MODULES, or GTK_IM_MODULE.
