Using the beta of 9.10 and I had a Kernel Panic the other day. I have
these periodically and usually happen because of one of two things or a
combination of the two--I don't know if there are two seperate problems
or if it is the same. The two
same problem. had it while testing the beta in virtualbox (I remember
seeing someone posting a workaround for it then, but I can't remember it
now).
I still encounter it on a clean install on my laptop. seems fairly
random when it turns up, but effects the top bar and applications as
described b

this bug also affects me. I filed a report at

center/+bug/793212 before I noticed this one. I'm not going to mark
mine as a duplicate for now because it has a little more background
information about the functionality that use to be present
